.all it did was rev….like it was in neutral….so no 3rd or overdrive…it just revs up like the thing is slipping….so I took it to the shop,they said it most likely was the bands for 3rd and 4th gear…and that my Silverado transmission was notorious for this…about 3 out of 10 trucks have this issue…so 3200.00 hundred dollars later,I had my whole transmission rebuilt with a stag 3 shift kit….something I always wanted to do,but could never really get my wife on board,just because it was more of a want type thing,and not something I needed….or could really afford…if I wanted to go on vacation to Hawaii this year…well I got my truck back,still no 3rd or overdrive..come to find out,all it was,was a 3 dollar relay…..did I pull a fast one on my wife…
